This book was developed in close collaboration with poultry farmers, veterinarians and farm advisors. This checkbook is a collection of more than 70 cards that can be used independently.

Topics range from preparations for a new flock, the start of lay, egg quality to preventing pecking and floor eggs. The whole egg production process is covered.

There are various types of cards. Instruction cards show you step by step how to perform certain activities on the farm. Scorecards help you to objectively assess specific potential problems. Checklists address the highlights for each topic that you should focus on.

The Layer Signals Checkbook presents various topics on separate pages bound together with a wire-o-binding, making it easy to flick through. Pages are laminated in order to withstand dirt and water, so it can be used in the poultry house or anywhere else on the farm and is easy to keep ready to hand all the time.
