Hans L. Schippers is an international poultry specialist noted for his many articles in poultry magazines and the author of numerous small animal hobby books. He is a recognised authority on all small animals and a keen animal photographer. Hans is very well known and highly respected as a judge. He holds workshops, guest lectures, introductions and so on at home and abroad. He is also kept very active as a consultant for recreational farming practices. Recently he made another major contribution in words and images to the Farm Animal Encyclopaedia of the FAO, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
