Dries Aerden

Dries Aerden studied at the K.H. Kempen University College in the western Belgian town of Geel. After acquiring international experience at a number of large specialised dairy farms in Denmark and the USA, he joined the Belgian consultancy LIBA. Dries has a strong interest in feed and the impact it can have on the economics of dairy farming.

LIBA specialises in the _ nancial side of dairy farming – business accounting and drawing up business plans – and in operational management. It also o_ ers an online application called the Cowdashboard™, which is an easy way for dairy farmers to track their feed balance. LIBA provides advice on how to improve the feed balance and _ nancial management on a dairy farm.
